Divine Elements Naturopathic Family Wellness "Live Healthy Live Happy"

Divine Elements Naturopathic Family Wellness "Live Healthy Live Happy"

Divine elements opened in 2009 just two weeks after Dr. Nicholas Jensen and Dr. Sonya Jensen were married.  They fell in love at The Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in their fourth year; although Nicholas had his eye on beautiful Sonya way before that!  They each have an undergraduate degree in Biology; have a passionate love for travel & naturopathic health and they are both Kundalini yoga instructors.

After graduation & heavy school fees in 2007 they decided to relocate to Taiwan to earn a little cash and teach English for a year.  Their travels continued on throughout South Asia where they studied additional Ayurvedic methods that further complimented their Naturopathic Doctorate Degree obtained at The Boucher Institute.  Before returning home 2 years later, Nicholas proposed to Sonya in Dharmasala, India also known as Dalai Lama’s home after fleeing Tibet in 1959.  This spiritual setting added to the romance which made it a very memorable experience for the newly engaged couple!

Divine Elements is an “all in one” health clinic that offers;  immune boosting IV therapy, weight loss/detox treatments, healthy aging, B12 shots, allergy testing, acupuncture, pain relief from injuries & many other treatments.  Dr. Nick & Dr. Sonya both took Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (True Balance BHRT) training in 2012 with OB/GYN expert Dr. Ron Brown.

Sonya also has advanced training in Paediatrics, Pregnancy and Fertility, while Nick’s special training is Neural-Prolotherapy.  These dextrose injections are extremely helpful for nerve pain such as migraines, injuries, arthritis, chronic pain and angry scars that won’t heal.  (I tried it and couldn’t believe the difference it made to my knee after a few sessions!)

This busy West Broadway health clinic offers free 15 min consultations and encourages walk-ins to visit their “welcoming” environment.  Their naturopathic treatments are non invasive & are covered through most extended medical plans.  I recommend the $47 Wellness Check which is a 40 min. body composition test.  This can tell you many things you may not know about your nutritional health.  Both Nick & Sonya are available as guest speakers and Nick is a regular at the Running Room discussing nutrition for athletes & other health topics.

Take a moment to visit Divine Elements Naturopathic Family Wellness, have a cup of tea and say hello to this dynamic & knowledgeable couple.  You will feel comfortable and embraced as if you are a guest entering their family home.  Their “new” & extensive website will be available soon for all services offered, informative videos and descriptive procedure information.  It’s a magical & healing place that refreshes your mind, body & soul.
